DEVELOPMENT OF INNOVATIVE IEC MATERIALS FOR THE NTDS PROGRAMME

The Federal Ministry of Health, supported by UNICEF has embarked upon the development of innovative IEC materials for the NTDs programme. Some of the existing IEC materials were improved upon. Dr. Chukwuma Anyaike, the NTD National Coordinator, recognizing the urgency for NTD visibility stressed the need for making NTD IEC materials of top quality as this will encourage their use beyond periods of NTD implementation.  This exercise took place in Nasarawa State this week.
