Rights view project

• The project focused on interview of persons in the transgender community in Abuja, seeking to expose the struggles of stigma and discrimination faced by these groups and seek recommendations from them on integration.

• Seventeen plus foundation mobilized a number of these community members using ingenious means and interviewed 8 persons, 7 females and 1 male at the time of interview.

• We realized a diverse, hidden and neglected group of persons whose voice may require to be heard.
