Access for women (AFW)

Plus in September 2021. The project aimed at organizational capacity building for women led Non-governmental organizations in Kogi and elsewhere. 3 were selected from Kogi and 4 from Kaduna state under our project managers.

The initial capacity profile assessment showed an average baseline of 34% and 44% respectively for both states with the minimum and maximum of 15% and 47% respectively. • Seventeen plus provided trainings, mentorship and collaboration on 7 programme areas assessed. In the mid-term report of December 2021, 3 months after intervention, we noted an average increase from baseline of 40% and 41% respectively for both states with the minimum and maximum of 46% and 74% respectively.

It is hoped that as the project will round up in March 2022, a new assessment of the areas
assessed with yield scores favorable to the expected results stated as at the start of the project.
